The Permanent Mortgage Investment Corporation is a company that services the needs of two distinct clients. Firstly, the needs of the investors in the fund and secondly those of the borrowers.
The Investor
As an investor in our company your investment will be pooled together with the funds of other investors and lent to individuals who do not qualify under the guidelines of typical Canadian Financial Institutions. All funds will be secured by either a first or second mortgage, mainly on residential real estate within Canada. Our initial lending area will be within the boundaries of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Expansion to other regions of the province and country will happen at a later date with approval from our Board of Directors. As a lender our focus will be on Risk Mitigation for our investors (Please refer to the Risk Mitigation Section of our Website) while at the same time maximizing return on investment. The Borrower
As a borrower you can expect a “common sense” approach to our lending criteria. We will consider refinance loans, purchases, debt consolidation and “in-fill” construction loans. We will consider properties up to and including four-plex residential.
